2021 Annual Report
The year 2021 resumed with the uncertainty and turmoil from the year before due to significant global and continental developments. For one, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic continued to disrupt trade, decimate economies and cause devastation in societies all over the world. The pandemic caused unprecedented falls in economic growth and revenue collection, and negatively impacted the fiscal health of governments everywhere.
ATAF is glad to report that, for the greater part, the organisation has been able to respond to these significant developments impacting the continental tax environment and has risen to many of the challenges it has faced.
