2020 Annual Report
Looking back at what a harrowing year 2020 was due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, it is most gratifying to note that both the ATAF membership, and the Secretariat were able to emerge even stronger, despite the near total departure from our normal way of life to the virtual delivery of our obligations. I therefore use this opportunity to applaud the ATAF membership for their continued contribution to their countries’ development through tax collection, and the ATAF Secretariat for its steady support to the membership in these unprecedented times. ATAF’s work continues to target improved domestic resource mobilization, while steadily supporting policy and administrative changes to stem illicit financial flows on the continent.
